The High School Health and Wellness program is designed to implement strategies to prevent substance abuse among our Arizona youth. The intent of the program is to provide programs and services for high school students that prevent the onset of alcohol, marijuana, and prescription drug use, and to foster the development of social and physical environments that promote healthy and drug-free lifestyles. The Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family will soon be offering Request for Grant Application for high schools across Arizona to develop and implement this comprehensive primary prevention program.
