Boardroom Basics is a half-day workshop to educate Arizona business professionals on the rewarding world of nonprofit board service. This event is brought to you by the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits.
Designed specifically for business professionals and community members interested in serving on a nonprofit board, this half-day in-person workshop will explain the roles, responsibilities and expectations involved. Whether you are just thinking about committing to board service or are already on a board, this workshop will give you the information you need to be a valued contributing member of the board. Taught by nonprofit leaders and partners with hands-on nonprofit board experience, attendees will receive valuable insight on a range of board service roles, including the Fiduciary Role, the Legal Role and the Fundraising Role.
Boardroom Basics is a special version of the Alliance’s ongoing Business on Board full-day program adapted specifically for busy business professionals.
